Ifosfamide (Holoxan, IFO) is an oxazaphospoorine alkylating agent with a broad spectrum of antineoplastic activity. IFO can damage DNA during any phase of the celI cycle and therefore, is not phase-specific. Thus the objective of this investigation is to measure the potential cytotoxicity of IFO alone and in combination with vitamins (FA, VB12 and VC) The genotoxic potential of IFO was evaluated in vivo using different mutagenic end points.
