Summary, etc. This research was carried out at the Experimental Farm of Al-Azhar University , Assiut Branch, aimed to study the impact of indoor temperature humidity index (ITHI) in traditional (TR) and non traditional (NTR) rabbit housing models as affected by subtropical conditions in Assiut allover the year. ` Twenty two, seven months old, Bouscat rabbits were used in this experiment to study the effect of housing models and seasons on reproductive traits under subtropical conditions. Animals were divided into two groups. The first group was raised in traditional housing model (TR) and considered as control. The second group was kept in non traditional housing (NTR) and considered as treated one during the experimental period (four seasons. The values of number of matings per conception (NMPC/ time), Conception rate (CR %), Gestation length (GL/ day), Litter size at birth (LSB) and at weaning (LSW/ kids) and Mortality rate from birth up to weaning (42 days) were recorded. The results showed significant differences (P<0.05) in all studied criteria except GL (day). The achieved privilege in reproductive performance by using NTR could be mainly attributed to highly isolative efficiency of NTR compared to the TR, which positively reflects on the reproductive efficiency.
