Endometritis was detected in 48.1 % of examined cases, which were divided into: non suppurative endometritis (33 cases), acute suppurative endometritis (6 cases), chronic suppurative endometritis (7 cases) and granulomatous endometritis (5 cases).Two cases of granulomatous endometritis showed spherical yeastlike fungi invading the epithelial covering.
