A significant increase was obtained in grain yield due to PG application. In 1998 season, ∆ increase % was 8.1, 11.3 and 17.3% with PG1 PG2 and PG3respectively. The corresponding values in 1999 were 2.4, 7.5 and 13.7%. However, OM treatments led to slight decrease in grain yield with the two seasons.
