Research suggests that Omega-3 fatty acids (n-3..FA) play an important role in reducing the risk of many diseases. Therefore, this current study aimed to investigate the influence of education levels on n-3 FA and to examine the relationship between n-3 FA intake and plasma n-3 FA concentrations and plasma lipids among Saudi mothers. One hundred healthy mothers aged 25-40 years volunteered to participate in the study. The result shows that mothers with high education level consumed more fish and n-3 FA than mothers with medium and low education levels. There were positive and statistically significant correlations (r= 0.45 I, 0.596, 0.418, P<0,05) between total n-3 FA, eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) intakes and their plasma concentrations respectively.
