Applying some management methods (exposing colonies to the sunshine and cross breeding between Apis mellifera lamerckii and Apis mellifera carnica) revealed the infestation level with Varroa mite. The combination between the two methods resulted in better control whatever natural of dead mites fallen on white card board ranged from 0.001 to 9.333 mites/colony/14 days between 4 stocks exposing to sunshine through the period of experiment from 30/8/1999 to 7/12/1999. Also, area of worker brood and number of combs covered with bees were the highest through 4 stocks which exposing to sunshine especially hybrid vigor queens (H.L.H.) and (H.C.H.) first hybrid Carniolan queens.
