Two field experiments were carried out at Sids Agricultural Research Station, Bani- Sweif Governorate, Middle Egypt during 2012 and 2013 growing seasons to study the response of new promising hybrid cotton [Giza 83 (Giza 75 x 5844)] x Giza 80 to irrigation intervals and NPK fertilizer rates to determine the suitable irrigation intervals and rate of NPK fertilizers for this hybrid. The experiment design was split plots design with four replications. The main plots involved two irrigation intervals (irrigation every two weeks and irrigation every three weeks throughout the growing season starting after the first irrigation). The sub plots included three rates of NPK fertilizer (30 kg N+ 15 kg P₂O₅ + 24 kg K₂O /fed., 45 kg N+ 22.5 kg P₂O₅ + 36 kg K₂O /fed. and 60 kg N+ 30 kg P₂O₅ + 48 kg K₂O /fed.). The results indicated that irrigation interval every two weeks gave better values for number of fruiting branches, number of open bolls /plant, boll weight, seed index with increasing seed cotton yield/fed., compared with irrigation every three weeks. The rate of NPK fertilizers (60 kg N+ 30 kg P₂O₅ + 48 kg K₂O /fed) significantly increased number of fruiting branches, number of bolls per plant, boll weight, seed index and seed cotton yield/fed. The interaction of irrigation every two weeks and the rate of NPK 60 kg N+ 30 kg P₂O₅ + 48 kg K₂Old components character. The studied treatments did not exhibit significant effect on all fiber properties under study, except the significant effect for irrigation intervals on strength and Micronaire reading, in both seasons. Therefore, It could be concluded that the highest seed cotton yield/fed . was obtained from irrigation every two weeks and fertilization with the rate of NPK. (60 kg N+ 30 kg P + 48 kg K /fed) to the new promising hybrid cotton [Giza 83 (Giza 75 x 5844)] x Giza 80 under middle Egypt condition.
