These procedures were developed for the micro propagation of Phytolacca dioica by using shoot tips. Explants were obtained from a tree which grown in the Orman garden and were cultured on Murashige and Skoog, 1962 (MS) and Gamborg, 1968 (B5) media at different salt strengths (full strength, 3/4, 112, 114, 118, 1110, 1120 and 1140) growth regulator free in the establishment stage. Full MS supplemented with Indole Butyric Acid (IBA) at various concentrations (0.0, 0.5, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0 and 2.5 mgl⁻¹) for each to study there effects on the growth and development of Phytolacca dioica shoots in the multiplication stage. In rooting stage the MS medium was supplemented with IBA at various concentrations (3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5 and 5.0 mgl⁻¹).Results showed that shoot growth at the establishment stage required MS control (growth regulator free, and shoot multiplication required MS medium supplemented with (2.5) mgl⁻¹ IBA .Shoot length was significantly affected by the presence of (2.5) mgl⁻¹ IBA. The rooting of shoots required (5.0) mgl⁻¹ IBA .Rooted shoots were acclimated and successfully transferred to soil (peat: sand 1:1 v/v) with 75 %of the survival plants.
