<br/><br/> Two filed experiments were conducted at Mallawi, Agric. Res. St. (Middle Egypt) during the two seasons 2004-2005 and 2005-2006 to investigate the effect of some cropping systems on yield and yield components of cotton and onion. The experimental design was complete randomized blocks with three replications. The treatments included four cropping systems i.e. soild cotton cv Giza 83 grown after clover (2-cuts) (T1), solid onion cv Giza 6 Mohassan (T2), onion + cotton (intercropping) after fallow (T3) and Fahl berseem (one cut) followed by onion + cotton (intercropping) (T4).
