<br/><br/> Two field experiments were carried out In 2006/2007 and 2007/2008 seasons at  Malawi Agricultural Experimental Research Station El Minia Governorate to study the effect of nitrogen soil fertilization level (60. 90 and 120 kg N/fed) and foliar fertilization of sulphur In the form of Calcium Poly Sulfide (30%) at concentration of 6 cm/l. which was applied (once at 70 days age, twice at 70 and 85 days as well as three times at 70, 85 and 90 days after sowing in addition to foliar spray with distilled water as control) on sugar beet Desperiz Poly N variety.
