A field experiment was conducted during 2002/03 and 2003/04 growing seasons at Research Station to evaluate some faba bean genetic segrigants for resistance to chocolate spot disease as well as seed yield along with some important yield attributing traits. The same genetic segrigants were sown under artificial infection at Giza Research Station. Data revealed that highly significant dift8rences were detected among tested genetic segrigants for most characters in each seasons and combined data, which indicate wide genetic variability.
