Agric., Zagazig Univ., to study the effect of foliar application of magnesium and kinetin on growth and yield of pea under sandy soil conditions Spraying pea plants with kinetin at 10 ppm or Mg S04 at 1 % increased total root branches number, stem length and number of leaves I plant, while kinetin at 10 ppm recorded maximum values of number of branches I plant compared to control or other treatments. Application of kinetin or Mg S04 at all studied concentrations increased chlorophyll a in leaf tissues and both P and K contents in roots compared with the control Kinetin at 10 ppm and MgS04 at 1 % and 2% recorded maximum values of dry weight of roots, aerial parts and total / plant, leaf tissues content of chlorophyll b, total (a+b) and carotenoids, the uptake of N, P and K, number of pods I plant and yield I plant and per feddan UR - http://nile.enal.sci.eg/EALE/2004/ZJAR/3104/4A/1321.pdf ER -
