In: Zagazig Veterinary Journal 2007.v.35(2)Summary: A total of 900 fish belonging 10 Atherina sp. (common sand smelt) were examined for lhe presence of anisakid larvae. The delected larvae were collecled from the fish and four puppies were infecled experimentally. Puppies were sacrificed when began 10 shed eggs in lheir feces. The larvae. eggs and adult worms were described. Hislopalhological changes 10 the larval migralion in differenl organs were studied.
