In the present study, only six species belonging to the genera, Nomia (Latreille) and Pseudapis (Kirby) are recognized from Egypt. These species are: Nomia (Leuconomia) lutea (Warncke), Pseudapis (Pseudapis) armata (Olivier), P. (P.) dixica (Warncke), P. (P.) innesi (Gribodo), P. (P.) nubica (Warncke) and P. (P.) unidentata (Olivier). The first species is transferred from subgenus Paranomia (Michener) to Leuconomia (Pauly) under the same genus Nomia Latreille. The next species are transferred from genus Nomia Latreille to genus Pseudapis (Kirby) and from subgenus Lobonomia (Warncke) to subgenus Pseudapis (Kirby), except the last one which is transferred from subgenus Nomiapis (Cockerell) to subgenus Pseudapis (Kirby).
