520 _aExperiments were conducted in the laboratory at 26 ± 1°C and 65 ± 5% R. H. to study the effect of adding 2, 4 and 8 % dill, (Anethuem graveolenslinn.) and parsely (Apium sativum.) seed powders to the diet, on the mortality and population growth of Sitophilus oryzae (L.) and Tribolium castancum (Herbst). The recorded results during the period of the first three weeks rearing indicated that, there are relations between the mortality percentages and the concentrations added to the diet from the used two tuted pourders. By increasing the cone., and exposiour period, increased the impact mortality.
