520 _aA total number of 250 meat products (50 each of minced meat, beef burger, kofta, oriental sausage and luncheon) were collected from different markets in Cairo and Giza Governorates. E. coli 0157 was detected in minced meat, beef burger and kofta, with percentages of 2, 4 and 4%, respectively while the organism failed to be detected in samples of oriental sausage and luncheon.
