The experiments were conducted to investigate the effect of humic acid, Bio fertilizer and mixing between them as soil addition and foliar spray by two compounds of amino acids on growth, yield and chemical composition of cucumber plant Bahy cv. Results revealed that the highest values of plant height and weight; shoot and root dry matter percent; No. of leaves/plant; Leaves area; No. of fruits/plant; fruit length and weight; plant yield; early and total yield as well as fruit chemical contents were recorded with mixing between Humic acied and Biofertilizer treatment followed by Humic acid alone treatment. No significant differences occurred among both treatments in all most growth; yield and chemicals contents parameters in both seasons except biofertilizer treatment had the highest values in No. of branches/plant in both growing seasons and the highest values in K (%) and total carbohydrate (%) in second season only. Foliar spray by A 15% at the rate of 2ml/L showed significant increase in plant height; No. of leaves/plant; No. of fruit/plant; fruit weight; plant yield; early and total yield and N (%) in both seasons. Also, B 20% at the rate of 0.5ml/L showed the highest values in shoot and fruit dry matter percent; total chlorophyll and P(%) in both gowning seasons. Positive correlations were existed between study parameters and the regression coefficients (b) indicated that for each increase of one leaf/plant, number of fruits/plant correspondingly increased by 0.36 and 0.31 fruit and for each increase of one fruit/plant, total yield correspondingly increased by 0.69 and 0.78 ton/fed in the first and second seasons, respectively. Keywords: Cucumber –Growth – Yield - Chemical composition- Humic acid, Bio fertilizer- Amino acid. | ||
