The numerical occurrence of different adult morphs and stages of the greenbug Schizaphis (=Toxcptera) graminum (Rond.), dispersalability and natality rate were studied on wheat plants at Embaba district throughout winter 1999/2000 and 2000/2001seasons. Infestation by adult females (especially winged females) was initiated on wheat as soon as seedling emergence. Adult females attained the highest numbers during a period extended from the 2nd week of February to the end of March in both seasons. The counts of females in the first season were 2.53 times higher than in the second one.
