Summary, etc. This study organized as the first trial to discuss effect of ECPS of Y. ruckeri on fish fecundity. ECPS of Y. ruckeri was prepared from already obtained Y. ruckeri strain using ECPS of Y. ruckeri was then injected I/P 0.2 ml. ECPS in females C. gariepinus. gp. (2). A control group (1) was injected I/P 0.2 ml. saline. As an immunotherapy approach, levamisole injected I/M with 5 mg./KG body weight followed by I/P 0.2 ml. ECPS gp. (3). ECPS of Y. ruckeri exerted severe clinical signs: redness of mouth, erosion of upper jaw and hard palate, protrusion of vent and severe muscles ulceration. Also fecundity was highly significantly dropped as well as total protein, AST and IgM while ALT and glucose compared to gp. (1). Liver group (2) showed severe haemorrhages with dilatation of central vein, cells vacuolation, focal areas of necrosis, and much acinus formation. Ovary group (2): revealed severe haemorrhages between ova or allover the contour of ova, with immature ova or ova empty from vitellogenin. The immunostimulator levamisole caused decrease of mortality rate from 75 % in gp. (2) to 3 % in gp. (3). Moreover, it highly significantly improved fish fecundity and total protein. As immuno- modulator fish IgM highly significantly increased in gp. (3) compared to gp. (2). Decreasing fish stress, levamisole caused highly significantly drop in glucose level than gp. (2). The authors highlight the drastic effect of Yersinia infection on brood stocks and recommend levamisole administration as prophylaxis and immunostimulator.
