Summary, etc. Date palm organized tissues (vegetative buds and somatic embryos) were formed directly from female infiorescence. In this study, some of in<luction factors like carbon source and salt strength were examimed for establishing organized structures. Different growth stages for the spikelet explants (2.5 and 7.0) which derived from the female inflorescence of date palm were used based on the initial length of spikelet explants.
