Summary, etc. The efffect of I % calcium chloride, 2% calcium nitrate. 1 % calcium Edeta and 0.4% zinc sulfate as foliar spraying on improving quality and storability of Crimson Seedless grape fruits was studied during 2002 and 2003 seasons .The clusters were sprayed with 1% CaCI2. 2% Ca(N0])2.1% Ca- Edeta and 0.4% Zn SO. one month before harvest and then stored after harvest at O'c and 90 - 95 % RH . Moreover. treated clusters were examined every 2 weeks to study the physical and chemical properties during the storage period. The results indicted that the Storability of treated .clusters was increased comparing with the untreated clusters. Ca(NO3)2 treatment prolonged storage period till 165 days while CaCl, Ca-Edeta and ZnSO4. treatments stayed fruits until 150 days, as compared with the control which stayed only 120 days in the cold storage. Also, all pre-harvest treatments decreased decay %, weight loss 0/.. and acidity % as well as increased the berry adherence. firmness, besides TSS 0/.. total sugars and anthocyanin contents under cold storage period and shelf life after storage. It can be concluded that, best treatments with the favorable characteristics of Crimson clusters were obtained from treating clusters with 2% Ca(NO3)2 one month before harvest .
