Summary, etc. The main objective of this study was to evaluate the performance of rotating sprinklers. to determine optimum operating conditions that achieve high application efficiency. The coefficient of uniformity (CU) and distribution uniformity (DUj were evaluated under different levels of operating pressure and trajectory angle. It was concluded that the operating conditions that achieved high coefficient of uniformity and distribution uniformity were operating pressure of 200 kPa and combination of trajectory angles (20: 30! The corresponding values of CU and DU were 79.63% and 64.92%, respectively. Also, to determine optimum high percentage of overlapping, the experimental data were simulated using simulation models (Catch-3D and SURFER programs). The results revealed that the spacing between sprinklers should be higher than or equal to 50% of welted diameter of rotating sprinklers to avoid water lose and min.imi::e irrigation system cost.
