Summary, etc. Two field experiments were conducted at El· Kanater Horticultural Research Station in 2000/01 and 2001/02 to study the effect of three moisture levels (25, 50 and 75% depletion (i.e. wet, medium and dry) and monthly foliar spray with ancymidol, through March to August (0, 100 and 200 ppm) six times / season, and their interactions on growth, flowering and chemical composition of Jasminum sambac plants. The obtained results, indicated that water consumptive use (w. c. u.) ranged between 89.45 and 68.2 cm. in the first season and 90.71 and 69.4 cm. in the second one, corresponding to 3756.9, 2864.4 m3/fed.in the first season and, 3809.8,2914.8 m3/fed in the second season respectively. Ancymidol slightly decreased the w.c.u. The monthly w.c.u. began to rise in February to reach its peak during June and July.
