East EI-Owienat is considered one of the most important development projects at South Valley region which had been reclaimed partially over 55.000 fed. from a total target of200.000 fed. This study aimed mainly at evaluating an area over 35,000 fed. north of Tarfawi well at East EI-Owienat-EI-Dakhla area, by assessing land capability, limiting factors of productivity and Ian suitability. Reconnaissance soil survey was undertaken using 146 representative soil profiles.
