The effect of spinosad and triflumuron either alone or as mixtures with two surfactants, Triton X-l00 and Tween-20 on some biochemical aspects of 4th, instar larvae of Spodoptera littoralis was studied after 24, 48 and 72 hours of treatment. The activities of trehalase, invertase and amylase enzymes in treated larvae were generally decreased than untreated larvae during different times. Additionally, the tested insecticicies-surfastants mixtures reduced activities of carbohydrate hydrolyzing enzymes as compared to insecticides alone. The mixture of spinosad at its LC ₄₀ with Triton X-l00 was the most effective, that caused the highest significant decrease in the activities.
