In: Egyptian Journal of Biological Pest Control 2010.v.20(1)Summary: The phenoloxidase (PO) activity in the normal 4th instar larvae of Agrotis ipsilon reached its maximum at pH 8, and at the optimum temperature 47°C.Its activity was about 1.3 times that in the control when acetone was used as an activator, while it showed sever decrease (about 15.32 % of that in the control) when EDTA was used as an inhibitor.
