In this respect, the weight of pupa, the adult female longevity, the mean of preoviposion and oviposion periods and the number of eggs /female were considered. The green bolls of G 89 and G 45 gave the longest larval period and the longest pupal periods. Insignificantly differences had been observed between the longevities of adult male in different cotton varieties. The longest incubation period was on G45.
