The main objective of the current study is to produce a geometrically corrected thematic maps scale I: 50.000 reduced to the attached maps scale I: 250.000 for Siwa oasis as a base for crop water requirements calculation. To fulfill this objective 14 soil profiles were selected to represent the different mapping units. Morphological description was outlined and soil samples were collected for physical and chemical analyses. Based on the aerialphoto., ETM+ satellite image interpretation, Geographic Information System coupled with the field work and Laboratory analyses data, the physiographic soil map have been produced. Eight main landforms could be identified as follows: I-Sand sheet ,2-Hummocks, 3-0verflow basins A-Decantation basins, 5-Dry sabkhas , 6-Wet sabkhas ,7-Hilly Areas and 8Mountainous Areas. The main land qualities of the ditlerent mapping units and the crop requirement were rated and matched to obtain the current and potential land suitability using Automated Land Evaluation System "ALES".The most suitable crops for the studied area were : clover, wheat, beans, sugar beet, onions, maize. sunflower, tomato, potato, ground nut, pea, lentil, barley, sesame and carrots. The crop water requirements for the selective crops were calculated using crop wat program as :719.40 - 527.10 - 345.1 588.00 - 357.54 - 729.00 - 662.10 - 839.20 - 398.05 - 487.20 182.85 - 178.80 - 527.26 - 465.75 and 227.85 mm, respectively.
