The experiment was conducted to study the effect of addition of fenugreek seed (Trjgonella foenum-graecum L.) as supplementation at two levels in the diet of broiler chickens on body weight, weight gain, feed consumption, feed conversion, antibody titer, carcass quality, liver and kidney functions, oxidative stability of fat, serum cholesterol, histopathological changes, and economical evaluation. A total of 30, dayold broiler chicks were distributed in 3 experimental groups fed control diet supplemented with 0.0%, 1%, and 2% fenugreek seed meal during tbe experimental period. At 45 days of the experiment, results indicated that supplementation of the diet with 1% fenugreek improved weight gain, feed conversion, antibody titer against New castle virus, and fat stability. Blood glucose and cholesterol levels were reduced.
