In: Minia Journal of Agricultural Research and Development 2009. v.29(1)Summary: Results showed that the percentage of hulls to kernels and percentage of oil differed in the two tested species, being 45.65, 52.27% and 27.70, 42.58% of total seed weight of M. pregrina and M. oleifera, respectively. Total pigments, phenols, flavonoids, carotenoids and vitamin C content were determined using the colorimetric method in seeds (hulls and kernels) of both M. pregrina and M. oleifera.
