In: Egyptian journal of soil science 2006 v .46 (2)Summary: The Study area occupies the eastern part of east Oweinat project between 28° 20 and 29° 40 E , and 22° 20 and 23° 30 N . The area contains many landscape units. The study aims to characterize the different soils claasifications, the various landforms, and showing the possible factors cooncerning with soil formation. The study aims also to evaluate the taxonomic units.
