L.) to ule combinations between three levels of sulphur application (200, 400 and 600 kg sulphur/fed.) and three doses (timc of application) i.e. Sulphur levels were applied at onc dose (during soil preparation before sowing), two doses (half of S-level applied during soil preparation and second one at 30 days after sowing) and three doses (S-Ievel were divided inlo three equal portions; first portion was applied during soil preparation, second portion was applied at 30 days after sowing and third portion was applied at 60 days after sowing.
