In: Annals of Agricultural Science, Moshtohor 2006.v.44(3)Summary: Two field experimcnts were conducted during the two successive winter season of 2004/2005 and 2005/2006 at the Experimental Station of the National Research Center in Shalakan (Qalyoubia Gov'ernorate). This work aimed to study the response of garlic plants (Allium salivum. L.) to ule combinations between three levels of sulphur application (200, 400 and 600 kg sulphur/fed.) and three doses (timc of application) i.e. Sulphur levels were applied at onc dose (during soil preparation before sowing), two doses (half of S-level applied during soil preparation and second one at 30 days after sowing) and three doses (S-Ievel were divided inlo three equal portions; first portion was applied during soil preparation, second portion was applied at 30 days after sowing and third portion was applied at 60 days after sowing.
