Subject(s): Online resources: In: Egyptian Journal of Agricultural Research 2006.v.84 (5)Summary: Obtained results from bioassay experiments showed that, the highest mortality of the fourth and fifth larval instars were 93.3, 96.7 and 93.3% when exposed to MVPII, Cascade and mixture of two agents at concentration of 4 x 1000 ppm., respectively. Number of laid eggs/female was reduced from 143 ± 2.6 (in control) to 24± 0.0 in MVPII, and 32 ± 1.0 in Cascade or 11 ± 0.0 in their mixture at concentration of 4 x 1000 ppm, respectively. Incubation period of eggs was prolonged in all treatments. Egg hatchability was reduced from 80 % (in control) to 67, 0.0 and 66% in the three treatments, respectively. Cascade showed highly reduction and mortality when used alone at 20 ppm.
