The biological aspects of the black wall spider, Walckenaera acuminate were studied on the larvae of the red palm weeVil, Rhynchophorou5 ferrugineus Oliv. at 27±1°( and 70±5% RH. The life cycle of the true spider ranged between 133 to 165 with average 149 days for female, while ranged between 118 to 152 with average 135 days for male. Under constant temperature and relative humidity, the adult female lived for between 169 to 187 with average 178 days and adult male the longeVity ranged between 145 to 168 days with average 165.5 days. Throughout the whole period of the immature adult stages, the immature and adult's female consume a ranged between 225 to 301 with average 263.0. Male followed similar trend as that of female, but in smaller numbers (ranged between 156 to 220 and average 188).
