Sixteen mature rabbitss (2.80 kg in average) were used in the digestibility trial for 3weeks. Ninety six growing male rabbit, {620 g in average ) were used in growth trial for 7 weeks, Rabbits of digestibility and growth trial were randomly assigned to four groups (4 and 24 rabbits/ group, respectively). Rabbits of the 1st group were fed pelleted diet (control) and the other groups (2-4) were fed the same diet but sprayed by 2, 4 or 6 liter of nonpathogenic Bacillus firmus (BF) culture/ 100 kg diet (2.4 or 6% as v/w) The bacterial diets were air dried for 24 hours at room temperature then offered to rabbits.
