In: Egyptian Journal of Phytopathology 2006.v.34(2)Summary: Pepper mottle potyviruses (pepMoV) was isolated from naturally infected pepper leaves collected from El.Sharkiya Governorate. The virus was transmitted mechanically and by aphids but not by seeds. Amorphous cytopasmic inclusions induced by PepMoV were observed under light microsropc in infected epidennal strips of pepper leaves.
