The experimental results reveal that soil physical properties (soil bulk density values=1.22 gm/cm3 in clay soil and 1.54 gm/cm3 in sandy soil, penetration resistance values=71.23 N/cm2 in clay soil and 49.76 N/cm2 in sandy soil), kinematic parameter values (0.85 in clay soil and 0.78 in sandy soil), draft force values (20.35 kN in clay soil and 19.73 kN in sandy soil), draught power values (18.65 kW in clay soil and 18.09 kW in sandy soil) and crop yield values (2.72 Mg/fed in clay soil and 2.30 Mg/fed in sandy soil) were in the optimum region under the following conditions: -Disk angle of between 45 to 50 deg., -Tilt angle of between 18 to 22 deg., -Forward speed of about 3.3 km/h, -Plowing depth of about 15 cm.
