Two field experiments were carried out, at EI-Gemmeza Agricultural Research Station during 2003/2004 and 2004/2005 seasons to study the effect of four phosphogypsum (PG) rates (0, 2.4 , 4.8 and 7.2 t PG / ha.) and five nitrogen levels ( 0, 47.6 , 95.2, 143 and 190.5 Kg N / ha.) on yield and quality of flax variety Sakha 2. The results obtained showed that phosphogypsum application at the rate of 2.4 t PG/ha significantly increased fiber elongation and fiber fineness.
