Baladi Guava (Psidium guajava L.) (local cv.) trees of 10 years old were sprayed in 2003 & 2004 seasons with two concentrations (0.25. 0.50%) of calcium chelate (10% calcium EDETA) at three weeks after full bloom and repeated at four weeks prior to harvest. A group from every treatment was dipped to 3% rice starch solution as a post-harvest treatment. After harvest. all treatments were stored at 10 °C for 21 days.
