The least squares analysis with unequal subclass numbers indicated that inbreeding of lambs had no significant effect on birth and weaning weights of lambs, but had highly significant effect on livability of Barki lambs to 14 days of age and on livability of Rahmani lambs to 60 days of age and had significant effect on livability of Rahmani lambs to 30 and 120 days of age. On the other hand, inbreeding of ewes had significant effect on birth weight and highly significant effect on weaning weight of Rahmani lambs only, but had no significant effect on livability of lambs of both breeds at different ages.
