Subject(s): Online resources: In: Journal of the Advances in Agricultural Researches 2011.v.16(2)Summary: To study the effect of drought and potassium fertilization levels on yield and its components in some wheat cultivars Le Sakha 94, Sids 12 and Gemmiza9. Split split plot design with three replications was used. Results indicated that the irrigation treatments had significant effect on number of spikes/m2, number of grains/spike, 1000-grain weight, grain and straw yield. The highest grain yield was obtained from the control irrigation treatments. The wheat cultivars differed significantly in the same characters. The highest grain yield was obtained from Gemmiza9 application with the K-fertilization levels increasing. The productivity of wheat crops from grain yield/fed increased as s result of increasing number of spikes/m2 and number of grains/spike.
