Subject(s): Online resources: In: Annals of Agricultural Science, Moshtohor 2004.v.42(1)Summary: The possibility of raising the efficiency application ofNPK at font levels ("0. O. 0., 25. 15. 5., 50. 30. 10., 100.60. 20 gm./plant) for Strelitzla reglnae Ait plants by using three rates of active dry yeast (0, I, and 2 gm.lplant) were studied dnring 200112002 and 2002/2003 seasons. . Results showed that all NPK levels or active dry yeast rates and their combined increased the plant height (em), leaves number/plant, petiole length (em.), leaf area (em"). flower spike number/plant, spike stalk length (em), stalk cliameter (mm). of\'sets number/plant, fresh and dry weight offoliage. spike (gin.), than the control. The most pronounced effect was attributed to the highest NPK levels (100, 60, 20 gm.lplant) supplying the active yeast at 2 gm.lplant. Total carllobydrates (mgigm.) and the elements content (N, P, K, Ca and Mg %) as well as, (Fe. Mn, Zn and Cu ppm) in vegetative growth, attained parallel results to both vegetative and flowering growth parameters.
