This study was carried out to evaluate the effect of spraying Ethrel on inducing flowering in the off year season of mango cv. Zebda. Ethrel spraying increased flowering percentage, initial and fmal fruit set, fruit retention (%), tree yield, fruit weight, TSS (%), and TSSlacid ratio. However, panicle length and fruit acidity decreased with increasing Etbrel concentration. A positive relationship was found between Ethrel concentration and the contents of total sugars, total amino acids, nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, total carbohydrates and CIN ratio in the leaves.
