In: Annals of Agricultural Science 2004.v.49(2)Summary: The antibacterial activity of oils of aloes, aniseed,carnation, caraway, fennel, garlic, lavender, nigella, onion and thyme on Agrobacterium tumefaciens the causal organism of the crown gall disease in vitro and in greenhouse conditions were evaluated. In vitro, all used oils had slight or no inhibitory effect at low concentrations. (0.25 and 0.5%).Some oils i.e. nigella, onion, aniseed and aloes behaved the same behaviour till in high concs.
