In: Journal of Agricultural Research Tanta Univeristy 2005.v.31(4A)Summary: Two pot experiments were conducted at the Agricultural Botany Department, Faculty ofAgriculture, Kafr El-Sheikh, Tanta University Egypt, during the two successive seasons of 1999/2000 and 2000/2001 to study the effect of some growth substances (morphactin, TIBA and ethephon) on faba bean plants which grew under the infection with Orobanehe erenata Forssk. The application of growth substances increased infected fuba bean stem height, number of branches and leafarea as well as fresh and dry weight of faha bean plants. In general, growth substances improved vegetative arid reproductive characteristics of infected faha bean plants with Orobanehe' erenata Forssk.
