Significant varietals' difference in the studied growth parameters were observed among pomegranate cultivars. Manfalouty cv performed the highest No. of leaves & shoots/twig and the widest trunk circumference as well as the highest No. of hermaphrodite flowers/ twig. However, Badr cv produced the highest No. of total & male flowers/ twig as well as fruit set (%) but it had the least No. of hermaphrodite flowers! twig and sex ratio. Tahreer cv produced the highest No. of twigs/tree and the longest ones and the maximum tree height and canopy circumference. Generally, male flowers started to emerge as well as ended before hermaphrodite flowers, where, Badr was the earliest in this respect. Regards to hermaphrodite flowers and fruit set dates, Badr followed by Araby and Wardy were the earliest; however,
