In: Journal of Agricultural Research Kafrelsheikh Univeristy 2009.v.35(2)Summary: Data obtained from 2152 records relevant to 849 Friesian cows raised at Dalla farm, 75 km south Alexandria, between 1987-1991 were utilized to study the effects of sire, age at first calving, season and year of calving and parity on milk yields and some reproductive traits of these cows. The least squares analysis with unequal subclass numbers indicated that the overall least square means of total and 305-days milk yield were 5076.4 and 4795.3 kg, in respective order, corresponding means for age at first calving, days open, calving interval and breeding efficiency were 28.1 month, 119.4 day, 397.3 day and 92.4%, respectively.
