In: Egyptian Journal of Agricultural Research 2003.v.81(2)SISummary: A total of three hundred samples of quail of different ages were collected from apparently healthy and clinically diseased farms in North Sinai governorate. The diseased birds were suffering from respiratory disorders, profuse diarrhea, and high mortality rate, especially in young ones. Post-mortem examination showed congestion in Liver, kidney, lung, intestine, perihepatitis and pericarditis.Samples were taken for bacteriological examination from the intestine, spleen, lung, liver and kidney. Sixty isolates (20%) Pseudomonas aeruginosa were recovered from the bird samples.
