Skin lesions (scabs&crusty materials) were scraped from the nose, upper and lower lips, upper and lower parts of the neck and the external sides of the hind limbs of affected camels (2-3 years old) then prepared aseptically for virus isolation on VERO cells and chorio-allantoic membrans (CAMs) of embryonated chicken eggs(ECE).
