One hundred and thirty five 1-day-old broiler chickens were obtained from commercial breeder farm vaccinated with live MG vaccine at 6 weeks old were kept under strict hygienic and isolation measures and given ration adlibitum.Ten birds were randomized to bleed at jugular vein for Serum plate agglutination ( SPA) for MG .One hundred and twenty five divided Into five equal groups. The first group was kept as negative control .The second group was given tilmicosin 30mg/kg B.W at 8 days of age orally In drinking water for 3 successive days.The third group was Infected with inoculum containing (1x 106) mycoplasma galisepticum Intra tracheal at one day of age ,at 8 day of age treated with tilmicosin 30mg/kg B.W for 3 successive days .The fourth group was infected with inoculum containing mycoplasms galisepticum positive control .The fifth group was infected with inoculum containing mycoplasms galisepticum as group 3 and treated with tilmicosin 30mg/kg B.W for the frist 3successive days of age.
